The mission of Florida Memorial University is to instill in students the importance of becoming global citizens through life-long learning, leadership, character, and service, which will enhance their lives and the lives of others.

Allen University Location-Columbia, SC Founded-187

Allen University is an academic community which provides students an opportunity to obtain associate, baccalaureate, and graduate degrees in liberal arts and professional programs in traditional and distance education formats. The University has a strong unalterable commitment to teaching in delivery of its associate, baccalaureate, and graduate programs.

A Big Sisterly Thank You to Sorors Angela Alston, Karen Carey, Marcy Drafts, LaTaisha Goins-Foster, Cheryl Noble, Alicia Thomas-Harris, Olivia Thomas & Donna Wright for your donations to HBCUs for the period January-April. During the May chapter these Sorors names were entered into a drawing. The winner of a $25.00 gift certificate to Bath & Body Works was Soror Angela Alston, a graduate of North Carolina Central University.

Sorors, please continue to make your individual donations to your favorite HBCU! During the September chapter meeting, Sorors who make donations (May-August) and either email, scan or forward their receipts from the school will be recognized. Send receipts to aso1930hbcudonations@gmail.com.

Get Ready: In preparation for HBCU Week (9/19-25), Madame Basileus has approved wearing our favorite HBCU/ collegiate shirt to the September virtual chapter meeting.
